Hyperopia

Myopia or near-sightedness is the problem of most people. They focus too much on trivial things that they fail to see the big picture. But I think many people also have the problem of hyperopia, including me. People tend to be far-sighted. They look to much on the future, while not assessing what they have right now. There is nothing wrong at considering one's future, but everything should be done in moderation. For the past few days, I learned about hyperopia. The future is unclear, for it may be have something good or not so good in store for us. One thing is for sure, it will help us be better individuals.

People tend to look for the wrong things. What they don't know is that something better is at hand.

We search for so much things that we tend to take for granted what we have. We want more, while we don't know that we have the best. We search so far, yet what we really want is here. Many small things can be bigger than the biggest things in life. Appreciate the small and the trivial for these might be bigger and more important in building touchpoints.

hmmm....hyperopia...i think medyo ganyan din ako eh..puro future iniisip...kaya if may na-hurt ako in the past because of my mentality, im really sorry...to some extent, hyperopia's actually good.. pero not too much...kasi baka pera na nga, maging bato pa...may naalala tuloy ako na quote.. nakalimutan ko na yung exact words pero it's something like "yesterday is history, the future is a mystery and today is a gift..that's why it's called the present..." sana malaman ko pa yung interiority ni tim...which could only be shared through dialogue....--->aspe

This is something I learned the hard way but nevertheless I am deeply thankful that I have experienced going through the rough times. This enabled me to see the importance of enjoying the present while anticipating the future. I may be in the dark right now but because of this I am learning how to use my other senses.

Enjoy what is in front of you... it shall lead you to where you should be... and very important... never ever let go of your dreams (no matter how absurd they may seem)

Yan ang natutunan ko sa sinabi mo sa akin nung isang araw. After some thinking... boom!... un. i'll enjoy what is in front of me. tama ka nga, minsan na-take for granted natin ang kahalagahan ng tunay na pagkakaibigan :) salamat.

AS I ALWAYS SAY, "CONTENTMENT IS THE KEY TO SATISFACTION"... BUT IT'S INHERENT IN HUMANS TO SEEK SOMETHING "HIGHER" OR SOMETHING "MORE", AND I DON'T BLAME YOU FOR THAT BECAUSE YOU KNOW THAT YOU'RE HAPPY WITH WHAT YOU HAVE NOW BUT YOU CAN BE HAPPIER. BUT YOU SAID IT NA RIN... YOU'LL ENJOY WHAT YOU HAVE RIGHT NOW. AND THAT'S THE BEST THING TO DO. =) AT THE RIGHT TIME, YOU'LL GET WHAT'S BEST FOR YOU... WHEN YOU FEEL THINGS AREN'T MEASURING UP TO YOUR ASPIRATIONS, JUST THINK... HEY, IT COULD BE WORSE! ;)
